1、 Project Overview

Project Name: Road Reconstruction Project from Xiangquankou Toll Station to S308 Line in Pingchuan District, Baiyin City (Xiangyang Road to S308 Section)

Background and Objectives of Construction: The road reconstruction project from Xiangquankou Toll Station to S308 Line in Pingchuan District, Baiyin City (Xiangyang Road to S308 Section), with a central separation bandwidth of 3m, mainly planted with cypress trees and poor visibility; To improve the traffic capacity and safety of the road, it is required to cancel the use of asphalt pavement on the central divider strip. The specific reasons are as follows:

(1) There are many intersections and entrances/exits on the current road, and the green vegetation in the current divider is good, which affects the visibility of vehicles passing through the entrances/exits and intersections.

(2) The current situation is that irrigation water for greening in the partition zone is prone to seep into the roadbeds on both sides, causing excessive moisture content in the roadbed soil and deep subsidence of the roadbed.

(3) The excavation of the current road surface and the widening of the ends on both sides of the road structure have a significant impact on the excavation of the median strip, making it difficult to carry out waterproofing. The utilization value of the median strip is not significant.

Therefore, it is required that the design unit cancel the central divider, pave the entire asphalt pavement, and use double yellow lines and hard isolation guardrails for protection.

2、 Construction scale and content: The total length of the renovated road in this project is 2.627km, with existing road red line widths of 50m and 40m, and the renovated width of 50m and 40m. build

The design content includes: road engineering, traffic engineering, lighting engineering, water supply and drainage engineering, bridge and culvert engineering, heating, and greening engineering.

(1) Road engineering. After renovation, the road will be a two-way six lane urban main road with a design speed of 40km/h.

(2) Transportation engineering. 64 signs and 7937.3m2 traffic markings will be arranged along the route.

(3) (3) Lighting engineering. Set up 2 80KVA box type substations and install 132 LED street lights.

(4) Water supply and drainage engineering.

(5) Heating engineering.

Lay 2740m heating pipelines and 4 valve wells.

(6) Bridge and culvert engineering

Construction cycle and schedule: 24 months.

3、 Investment estimation and funding sources

The total investment for the construction of this project is 138.8405 million yuan, including 124.69 million yuan for construction and installation costs, accounting for 89.81% of the total investment; Other construction costs amounted to 7.5391 million yuan, accounting for 5.43% of the total investment; The reserve fund is 6.6115 million yuan, accounting for 4.76% of the total investment.
